SEAMEO Secretariat SEAMEO Secretariat

27-28 March 2024

The SEAMEO Policy Research and Publication Capacity Building Workshop is organised by SEAMEO Secretariat and funded by the ASEAN-UK Supporting the Advancement of Girls’ Education (SAGE) Programme, with input contributions from OECD, UNESCO GEM Report and SEA-PLM.

This workshop looks forward to empower the participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop policy research proposals that emphasise strengthened elements of research impact especially for Southeast Asia. SEAMEO Secretariat also looks forward to increasing the emphasis on the tangible benefits or improvements that research can generate to overcome the challenges and limitations faced by the SEAMEO Centres and Network.  Hence, the need to share the policy research skills about how outcomes and impacts can be planned while formulating their research proposals and how they can demonstrate in their applications that their findings can contribute towards impact is essential to the staff in SEAMEO Centres and Network.
