Policy dialogue on Climate Change and Girls’ Education: Youth Engagement in SDGs

Bangkok, 24 June 2022: The SEAMEO Secretariat in collaboration with the British Council, supported by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), virtually organised the Policy Dialogue on Climate Change and Girls’ Education in ASEAN – Youth Engagement in SDGs on 24 June 2022 between 14:00 and 16:15 hrs. (GMT+7/ Bangkok time).

The event steered a dialogue around strengthening awareness and engagement of schools and young people in the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) conversations using Climate change and girls’ education as an example topic.

Delivered by speakers from government and non-government sectors, experts as well as young people who are taking initiative around SDGs and joined by over 70 attendees from ASEAN countries and the UK, this event is finale of the Climate Change and Girls’ Education in ASEAN – a vicious or a virtuous circle? project which aimed to address the connection between climate change and girls’ education.
