After more than a year of intervention, the teachers were gathered again on 25 August 2013 at the Ban Subsanoon School, Saraburi Province, Thailand for a session to share and present their classroom research projects. The closing session also aimed to evaluate the extent of knowledge and skills gained from the year-long research workshop series. Fifteen classroom research projects were presented that were all designed to help improve academic performance of primary and secondary students in five core subjects, namely Thai Language, Mathematics, Science, English Language, and Social Science. The participating teachers also exhibited teaching materials that they developed in relation to their research work.

At the end of the sharing session, the SEAMEO Secretariat gave recognitions to teachers for their outstanding research work. This was done in cooperation with the Office of Education Service Areas of Saraburi II and the school directors of Ban Subsanoon School and Suksasongkroh Bangkruai School.

The SEAMEO Community Involvement Programme aims to improve the existing system of the SEAMEO adopted schools in Thailand. For the past years, the implementation by the SEAMEO Secretariat has focused mainly on capacity building of teachers and students, learning facilities, school management, parents and community's involvement. The long term objective is to help the adopted schools improve the quality of teaching and learning. Schools in other SEAMEO Member Countries have also been adopted by SEAMEO through the SEAMEO Regional Centres.
