Emotion and Psychosocial health of staff is one of important aspects SEAMEO Secretariat always put in the forefront of our considerations.  After COVID-19 situation with all the lockdown, work from home and emergency decree, it’s time to recharge our soul by indulging ourselves for a few days with all the colleagues!

Our annual Staff Outing this time took place in a seclude Lanta island in Krabi province from 29 to 31 October 2020. Nok Air brought us all safely to Krabi Airport and with the well-organized vans and boats, we arrived at the beautiful Pimalai Resort and Spa timely. This award-winning resort faced to Andaman Sea and lined with beautiful white sandy beaches. It is located on a hilly land of tropical forest with breathtaking sunsets view over the sea horizon. We were happily spending time amidst natural atmosphere and the best sea view.

The outing helped bringing SEAMES staff closer together. We’ve learned more about each other personality and habits we have never seen during our working hours in the office. Even though we didn’t have a team building activity, spending three days and two nights altogether in a seclude island has helped strengthening our relationship and we have felt like we are now a close-knit family. With our rejuvenated souls and minds, we all came back to Bangkok very fresh and active, and ready to tackle all our responsibilities altogether as a strong team of SEAMEO Secretariat.

The 3-day trip was added to our travelling experience diary as one of the most chillaxing and fantastic ever! We brought back home good memories and happiness with the colleagues outside the office!
