Volunteers from the community play a crucial role in helping COSI to deliver inspiring and engaging science experiences. We accept volunteers from ages 12 through adult, from all backgrounds to deliver a wide variety of COSI experiences.
We will match your time commitment, talents and interests with COSI’s needs to find the perfect fit. Time commitment varies from regularly scheduled volunteers who serve two to four days per month, ten to sixteen hours per week for college interns (link) and on a per-event basis for community and corporate partner volunteers.

Benefits of Volunteering at COSI:

COSI’s Career Ladder program is a strategic plan to grow and retain the knowledge, experience and passion of our team. This program allows for volunteers in good standing to apply for paid positions and be treated as internal candidates which will guarantee an opportunity to interview for an open position.
COSI has many exciting opportunities for unpaid college internships as a way to gain valuable experience and prepare college Juniors and Seniors for the workforce. Learn More
