         Proceedings and working papers of the 40th Meeting of the Governing Board of the SEAMEO INNOTECH. A total of 21 resolutions on Centre programmes were passed by the board.

       Intent on widening its network with universities, SEAMEO INNOTECH signed a Memorandum of Understanding with New Era University, a private school. 

Twinning Programme between the University of Newcastle and SEAMEO INNOTECH, 1997.
       SEAMEO INNOTECH signed an agreement with the Faculty of Education at The University of Newcastle, Australia whereby courses completed at INNOTECH can gain credit towards the awards of the Faculty. 

OTHERS
SEAMEO INNOTECH joins ANTRIEP, 1997.
       SEAMEO INNOTECH is a new member of the Asian Network of Training and Research Institutions in Educational Planning (ANTRIEP). 

SEAMEO INNOTECH joins New Training Consortium to help promote Education for All, 1997.
       The UNESCO Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting on Inter-Country Resource and Training Consortium under the Asia and Pacific Programme of Education for All (APPEAL) was held on 21-31 May 1997 in Pune, India to form a consortium of training centers and resource institutions which can readily respond to training needs relevant to the goals of Education for All (EFA). 

SEAMEO INNOTECH-Canada Program of Cooperation (1997-1999), April 10, 1997.
       Funding support has been approved for the project “Competency-Based Continuing Education Program for Teachers Utilizing Distance Education Technologies and Materials” during a meeting between SEAMES and CIDA committee on the selection of SEAMEO Center’s proposals.

        This monograph contains the evaluation study conducted by SEAMEO INNOTECH on the Multigrade Program in Philippine Education as requested by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports and the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF).

        This monograph describes the in-service learning system for school heads and its development through Project LEAD. This project was funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) through the SEAMEO-Canada Programme of Cooperation in Human Resource Development, Phase II.
