The publication contains statistics and graphs on the participants at the SEAMEO Centres/Network by nationalities, type of activities, and by gender.

The SPIM was first published to cover the fiscal year 1984/1985 in 1986.   It was published annually and distributed among SEAMEO related agencies upto 1999/2000.
