Brunei’s educational system

Teachers

Must have wide knowledge on syllabus and subjects

keeping in touch with the current affairs

caring

good teaching techniques

open minded and ready to accept criticism

creative and humorous

              Teaching Methods

Use of computers should be introduced into each subject (CAL)

Verbal teaching is not enough

Giving special class for under-achieving students

Revision exercises at the end of the week/month

               School Environment

Provided with facilities and equipment needed to give students more understanding subjects –experimental equipment

- machines and labs

-sports facilities

                    Clean and pollution-free

                School system

Present educational system should be maintained and be able to cope with changes

The syllabus of the primary school should be more complex to be in line with secondary education format

The introduction of computers into primary schools

Have a bilingual education system at the start

 

                Course Curriculum

Study must not only limited in the classrooms

Must contain courses which have connections to employment opportunities in the country

Would be more dependent to information technology and use of computers

Cultural and religious knowledge should not be neglected

The same educational system as other countries in the region
