in order to identify the cultural and social differences, to improve
the mutual understanding between EU and Southeast Asia. It will
be followed by the analysis of the distance learning systems and
IT&C possibilities in Southeast Asia and Europe, to develop
a methodology and strategy in order to define a specific Virtual
Learning Model, describing the role of key elements such as the
student, the learning materials, the tutoring action, the student
assessment, the support centre, the library and the social/community
interaction. As the result of all the activities exposed above,
a pilot test will be deployed to validate the methodology and strategy.

of this evaluation as well as insights gained from CAE e-LEARN will
be disseminated to a broad community. The dissemination will take
place during the whole period of the project having a bigger emphasis
at the end of it and will employ media, conferences and seminars
as a means of dissemination. |
