| The workshop was convened at Asia Pattaya Hotel, Pattaya, Thailand from 4-7 June 1996. It was hosted by SEAMEO Secretariat under the leadership of Miss Prapaporn Agamanon, the Assistant Director (Finance). |
| The guest speaker, Prof. Somroek Krisnamara gave a talk on "the Role of SEAMEO Accountants in Strengthening the Strategic Management of SEAMEO". |  |

The other guest speaker, Dr Teera Ashakul, Vice President of IFCT, gave a talk on "Funds Management in SE Asia: Opportunities and Challenges." |
Participants in the workshop came from all SEAMEO Units. |
