Salicylate Sleuths

Students discover products lurking in their home that may contain the medicine salicylate. Concepts: chemical reactions, medication safety, personal health.

Science & Engineering SciGirls Style for Grades 6-8

Join the Emmy Award winning PBS series SciGirls in a hands-on, minds-on introduction to the science inquiry and engineering design processes. Learn all about free STEM resources for girls offered through SciGirls, a PBS Kids television series with the goal of changing how millions of girls think about STEM. We will explore SciGirls activities and share our research-based strategies for engaging middle-school girls (and boys) in STEM.
