For Ages 3 - 5. All Preschool Programs Include:

  • Engaging group demonstration lead by a COSI Educator.
  • Multiple hands-on activities that enhance science inquiry skills and teamwork.
  • Wrap-up review of the program's core concepts.

COSI On Wheels brings science right into your preschool classroom! Students will use their powers of observation and exploration during an interactive group demonstration and multiple hands-on activity centers.

Please note these programs are currently available only in Ohio’s Franklin, Union, Delaware, Madison, Pickaway, Fairfield, & Licking Counties.

COSI conducts each program at your preschool with the help of four-five adult volunteers (teachers, aides, or parents) provided by your preschool.

Each Preschool Outreach program is 45-50 minutes long and can accommodate up to 20 students.

Pricing:

$120 for first session; $75 for each additional session (of same topic, held same day).

Let's Get Movin'

Up, over, around, and though! “Let’s Get Movin’” offers a physically engaging environment where students use their own bodies to explore the space around them. COSI’s “fitness instructor” leads students through a fun exercise routine to strengthen their understanding of basic spatial concepts.

Cycle of Seasons

As seasons change, so does the world around us. “Cycle of Seasons” helps students identify and observe different characteristics of the four seasons. Throughout the course of a “year,” students are immersed in seasonal environments and explore how their clothing, activities, and surroundings change with the seasons.

Animal Tales

Students embark on an adventure with a COSI “explorer” and are introduced to a variety of animals that call Ohio home. Through observation and exploration, students discover common needs and habitats among living things.

Math, shapes and numbers are everywhere! With 3, 2, 1 Build it!, students use real tools to build with a COSI educator as they explore shapes and numbers to create a variety of structures.
