New! Germs: A 21st Century Learning Lab

Unpack a box of 21st century skills in this unique 3 1⁄2-hour program focused on cross-curricular learning immersion that includes...

  • “Germinator,” a 45-minute workshop with OSU researcher Dr. Molly Brown in COSI’s Labs in Life where you’ll develop a hand sanitizer and test its effectiveness.
  • “Fight Germs, Stay Healthy,” a 45-minute workshop conducted by the COSI Team, where we’ll discover how our bodies protect us from germs, plus a chance to explore classic COSI exhibitions.
  • Learn about Columbus’ rich past in the newly-opened Columbus Historical Society gallery at COSI.

Specifications

  • Grade Levels: Grades 3-6

Cost

$100 for each 30 students in addition to COSI group rate admission ($9 per person). Accommodates up to 60 students rotating in small groups.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Availability: Program begins on selected weekdays at 10:30 am and concludes at 2:00 pm (includes a 30-minute lunch period).
