Popsicle Sticks, Googly Eyes, Buttons, etc. = Superheroes!

Today I brought a BUNCH of supplies down for kids to make superheros. It was basic stuff; feathers, felt, Popsicle sticks, googly eyes, buttons, etc. I also brought a hot glue gun and some sewing materials too. It turned out to be a "make-whatever-you-want" project. Which is totally fine!

Day Three is All About Crayon Art

Today we made Crayon Art! We melted crayons with a hairdryer onto a piece of paper for a melted art creation! Everyone definitely seemed to enjoy it, although it was a slow-going process, and kids were learning about patience.

Second Day of Maker Corps

This was the second day of our Maker Corps project here at COSI, and I have to say, it was great! Again! :) We made Artbots, which are robots that make art....

First Day of Maker Corps Project!

Today was our launch day of the Maker Corps project in the Gadgets Cafe. IT WAS SO FUN! Both kids and adults were great. Our theme today was Melt! and our first project was Brushbots.....
