Of all the segments of my journey, this one was the closest to where I lived, so I decided to explore this particular part of the river by bicycle. The day I chose started out cloudy and fairly cool. I used Googlemaps bicycle application to plot a course down the Olentangy Bike Trail and across Upper Arlington to Riverside Drive just opposite the southern entrance to the Griggs Reservoir parkland. A pop up shower made for a wet ride but, thanks to rain gear for both me and my bag, I arrived at the end of the rain in good shape to hike along the river south of the dam.

I am sharing from a respectful partner distance in the awe and pride of the founders Ruth Milligan, Nancy Kramer and all the people working so hard to make TEDx Columbus a success.

As I look over the full room and overflow space I am thrilled to see this incredible sharing of ideas fill COSI's special event spaces with engaged, interesting and diverse people from throughout our community.

We are in the second of 3 days of major innovation events at COSI. Today COSI is hosting Innovate Columbus sandwiched in between our two TEDx events.

It is way cool to have the caliber of speakers in our building today. Richard Florida, Jeffrey Dyer, and Sir Ken Robinson all in one afternoon speaking to the principles of Innovation. And to some degree how Columbus can continue to innovate as a community and to build an innovative ecosystem in our region.

TEDx Youth is underway today at COSI. Listening to our youth as represented by the emerging adults gives me a lift in hope for the future. The thoughtfulness, articulateness, and enthusiasm of the speakers is impressive.

Cool! Watched our adult team members enjoying putting together Lego castle like a bunch of kids.

I think adults as well as kids will have fun with Lego Castle opening Saturday!
