The SEAMEO Secretariat in collaboration with Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) organized the 4th Evaluation Meeting for Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA-Teacher Project) on 9 October 2017 at the Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The objectives of the meeting were to review and evaluate the implementation of the 4th batch of SEA-Teacher project to improve future programme as well as to discuss and plan for the 5th batch which will take place in January 2018.

As a successful continuation from the 1st Young SEA-TVET Symposium in Krabi in August 2016, the 2nd Young SEA-TVET Symposium: Young Smart Farmer, which was hosted by the Officer of the Vocational education Commission (OVEC) Thailand, and co-organised by SEAMEO was held in Pattaya, Thailand on 30 August-2 September 2017. The event was held in response to improve the quality of education of teachers and students and to promote TVET innovative practices and 21st century skills of students that were highlighted during the 2nd and 3rd High Official Meeting on SEA-TVET, in May 2016 and 2017.

Therefore, nutrition education and promotion becomes very important for teenagers in improving their knowledge for shaping the behavior of healthy lifestyle. Teenagers belong to the millennial generation t are very keen to various technologies, especially information technology. They spend a lot of time on social media, reading news, and information sharing. Those are very potential media as nutrition education channels for young generation.
