Target Audience

Language teachers of Middle/Junior and Senior High Schools. Preferable for groups of language teachers to become participants to facilitate group tasks.

Lecture Coverage

The course aims to improve teachers’ knowledge and skills on using High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) as language teaching strategy. It is expected that participants will be aware that appropriate questioning strategies will develop students’ thinking skills.  Examples of HOTS questions and lesson plans will be part of discussion and assignments. The final task is developing lesson plan by incorporating HOTS.
